Beacon Engineering's Batch Roller

The Beacon Engineering Model BR-800 horizontal BATCH ROLLER is equipped with four stainless steel conical rollers, each powered by its own hydraulic motor. The rollers rotate in the same direction, then reverse automatically. This drive system is electronically controlled and infinitely adjustable for rotation time and for dwell time between rotation cycles. The top rollers are spring-loaded or air-operated, as required, for automatic adjustment to the candy batch.

The hydraulic syste, powered by a 1-1/2 HP motor, drives each roller individually and raises and lowers the roller bed for ease of batch loading and feed control. The system is self-contained in the machine base.

The rope diameter is easily controlled by handwheel adjustment at the discharge end.

A PRE-SIZER is available with single or double sizing wheels with variable heat and speed controls to deliver a predetermined rope size to forming machines. A feed control arm reduces the speed of the wheels when the rope is excessive, allowing the forming machine to consume the excess before resuming normal speed.

The stainless steel hood is fully insulated and counter-balanced. A series of thermostatically controlled strip heaters with a capacity of up to 4000 watts, can be located either in the hood or on the machine sides. Steam heated batch rollers have a platecoil positioned on each side of the machine.

The two piece stainless steel bottom pan removes easily for cleaning.

Operator control station and heater controls with lighted indicators are conveniently located. All electrical controls and components are encosed for long life and to facilitate machine washdown.

Heavy duty casters provide mobility. Adjustable legs allow for height adjustment and leveling.
