Full Description of Beacon Engineering's StickMaster

The candy rope is fed from a Batch Roller into the brass infeed guide of the Beacon Engineering Stickmaster and into the four-stage sizing section where the rope is sized accurately to the desired diameter. The rope then moves through the twister belts which impart the "barberpole" effect and into the chain or plate shear, which cuts predetermined lengths.

Cooling and wrapping requirements are dependent upon the types of candy being produced on the Stickmaster. Beacon Engineering offers a Cooling & Straightening Conveyor for use with an existing wrapping machine. The Beacon Engineering Stickmaster, Conveyor and Wrapping machines are synchronized.

Minimum jacket damage due to the precise sizing control and speed graduation.
Special variable speed drive permits slowing down to a "crawl" for threading candy rope throught to desired production speed.
Variable speed range from 200 inches (500 cm) to 2000 inches (5000 cm) per minute (4-stage sizer)) and to 3000"(7500 cm) per minute (6-stage sizer).
Rope diameter selction from .25 inch (.635) to 1.375 inch (3.49 cm).
Rope length selection from 3 inches (7.6 cm) to 48 inches (114 cm).

ELECTRICAL -	2 HP DC Variable Speed Motor and Control. Voltage to individual specifications. The operator control station and heater controls are conveniently located. All electrical controls and components are enclosed for long life and to facilitate machine washdown.

WEIGHT -	Approximately 1,500 pounds (680 Kilos).

CONSTRUCTION -	Extra heavy frame with stainless and brass to meet the most rigid sanitary requirements. Shafts and drives are selected alloyed steels. Moving parts are set on permanently lubricate bearings.
