It has been over a year now since we lost Dean Shields, our chief engineer and designer of the vertical tube taper and EVAC aerosol can crushers. Dean’s business philosophy was one of deep personal consideration and support of each individual customer. We are committed to the continuation of this philosophy.

While the past year has been difficult from a personal standpoint, we have regrouped and added Susie’s son, John Chivington and daughter, Jennifer Guinn to our staff. John will assist Wesley Babcock in assembly and as service technician. Jennifer will be taking over the sales and marketing, and Susie and Sandra Quinton have assumed management of operations. Our long time shop employees are still in place and their experience and knowledge permit us to continue serving the industry with tube tapers, can crushers and
confectionery machinery as Dean would serve you himself.

In 2008 we were blessed with excellent sales. We successfully installed a large EVAC 2 in Italy, an EVAC I and tube tapers in Australia and other aerosol and confectionery production machines across the United States. This year we are hoping to complete the development of the vertical electronic orienting tube taper and orienter-spot labeler for the aerosol industry.

We are especially proud of our EVAC can crushing-product recovery systems. We are well aware that the worldwide economic situation may have affected your capital expenditure budget. However, please factor into your ROI the ability to burn the propellants as alternative fuel, to re-use the contents, to save money on your present disposal costs, and to derive income from the recycled scrap cans.
